Network Setup Tutorials

Connect to IPTV Television service with a 4-port modem and Amino set-top-box.

Step 1:  Connect the cables

Set top boxFrom left to right:
1.  DSL modem power cord
2.  Ethernet network cable to computer (yellow)
3.  Ethernet network cable to set top box (blue)
4.  Phone cord to wall jack
5.  Set top box power cord
6.  Coaxial video cable to TV (white)

VERY IMPORTANT!!!

Your computer MUST be connected to port #1 on the DSL modem.  Television set-top boxes must be connected to ports 2, 3 or 4.

Step 2:  Connect the DSL line

DSL Line1.  Connect filter to phone jack on wall
2.  Connect modem to "DSL" port on the filter.
3.  Connect phone to "Phone" port on filter.
4.  Plug power cord into household electrical outlet.





Step 3:  Install inline filters

Filter connectionsAny other phone jack in the house with anything connected like a phone, fax machine, satellite dish receiver, etc., should have an inline filter installed like this.








Step 4:  Connect the computer

Computer ConnectionTypical desktop computer.

Connect the yellow ethernet cable to the ethernet port on the computer.









Step 5:  Confirm connection

Pannaway LightsThe lights on the 4-port DSL modem should look like this:

Power:  Solid Green
Ethernet:  Solid Green
DSL:  Solid Green
Internet:  Solid Green
