Connect to the Internet with a single computer and a single-port DSL modem.
Step 1: Connect the cables.
From
left to right:1. Phone cord
2. Ethernet network cable
3. Power cord
Step 2: Connect the DSL Line
1.
Connect filter to phone jack on wall.2. Connect modem to "DSL" port on the filter.
3. Connect phone to "Phone" port on the filter.
4. Plug power cord into household electrical outlet.
Step 3: Install inline filters
Any
other phone jack in the house with anything connected like a phone, fax
machine, satellite dish receiver, etc., should have an inline filter
installed like this.Step 4: Connect the computer
Typical
desktop computer.Connect the yellow ethernet cable to the ethernet port on the computer like this.
Step 5: Confirm connection
The
lights on the DSL modem should look like this.POWER: Solid Green
READY: Solid Green
LINK: Solid Green
ACTIVITY: Intermittent blinking
