Network Setup Tutorials
Connect any DSL modem with a wireless router for multiple computers.
Step 1: Connect the cables
From left to right:1. Ethernet network cable from "Internet" port on router to DSL modem
2. Ethernet network cable to computer
3. Wireless router power cord
4. Phone cord from DSL modem to wall jack
5. DSL modem power cord.
VERY IMPORTANT !!!
The ethernet port on the DSL modem must be connected to the "Internet" port on the wireless router. Up to 4 computers can be directly connected on the remaining 4 ports. Any number of additional computers can connect wirelessly with the appropriate wireless adapter installed. Please see the "Basic DSL" tutorial page for phone and filter connections.
